At MidSouth Auto Care, our story starts long before we opened our doors in Broussard. It begins with a small-town kid named Tim who loved taking things apart just to see how they worked, especially small engines. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion for mechanics.

Over the years, Tim explored different career paths, but the automotive world kept calling him back. Working in the tire and mechanic industry didn’t just feel like a job. It felt like where he belonged. That passion eventually grew into something bigger: the desire to build a business rooted in honesty, hard work, and service to the community.

Built from the Ground Up

In January 2010, Tim and Malina opened their first new and used tire shop in Franklin. With a strong work ethic and a commitment to treating customers fairly, that location quickly earned the trust of local drivers. Two years later, in January 2012, we expanded and opened a second location in Berwick.

As the years went on, we listened closely to the stories our customers shared. Time and time again, we heard about frustrating experiences, unclear pricing, unnecessary repairs, and a lack of communication from other shops. It became clear that our community needed more than just another mechanic. It needed a place where people felt respected and informed.

A New Chapter with a Clear Mission

In early 2018, an opportunity arose to open a full-service mechanic shop. After much consideration and prayer, every step seemed to fall into place. By July of that year, MidSouth Auto Care officially opened its doors.
