I've never visited their location, but Melina with MidSouth is an absolute life saver! I was passing through Broussard, had a flat, and called them. I didn't need a tire, but I did need a specific tool. Melina took the time to come meet me on the side of Hwy. 90 with the proper tools to help get me back on the road and was very friendly and caring throughout the whole situation. Plus she refused any payment for her time. Even though I've not used their services yet, I've already recommended them. Truly caring people! Thank you Melina!!

Buyer beware. Paid to have an oil leak fixed here in November, but started smelling burning oil through my AC vents immediately after picking it up. I brought the car back THREE separate times, and every single time they dismissed it, claiming it was just "residual oil" or that nothing was wrong. Five months later, the smell persisted. I took it to a different shop, and they found that Midsouth Auto had improperly installed the valve cover. Incorrect work and a complete refusal to admit their mistakes. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
Thank you for your review! We mean that regardless of the star count — this is how we get better, and we would rather hear it than not. We remember your vehicle, and we remember those visits. We want you to know they weren't brushed off. Each time you came in, we inspected it and cleaned the residual oil as thoroughly as we could reach. With a leak as severe as yours was, oil bakes onto the exhaust and settles into places that simply can't be fully cleaned without major disassembly, and that burned-on oil can keep producing a smell long after the repair. What we told you then was honest: we couldn't confirm an active leak, and we asked you to come back if it persisted so we could keep digging. We understand now how that must have felt after months of smelling it — like we weren't listening. I'm sorry it felt that way. Everything we do here is backed by our 2-year / 24,000 mile warranty. If a problem with our work had been found at any point, we would have fixed it at no charge — no argument, no runaround. That's the part that stings most about this review: we never got the chance. We appreciate all your business with us and we would have loved to resolve this at no cost to you. - Midsouth Auto

I’ve had service work done here before and was very satisfied. I brought my truck in to address a few issues, my bearings that were changed here a couple years ago were making noise, ModSouth honored my warranty and replaced them as well as the sensor that was malfunctioning. They sent me a text with a link explaining everything that was noticed from their detailed inspection. Then they called me to talk about the issues that were more critical. They they follow up with a text with a link of all of the services they recommend with quotes. This makes it really convenient because you pick what services you want, click submit, and they get to work. They asked what my expectations were to get my truck back…this was Tuesday morning. I said I’d like it back by Friday afternoon. They told me that should be no issue. By Tuesday afternoon, my truck was ready. Very reliable service, very friendly staff, very efficient work and a very fair price. I will continue to use MidSouth for my future vehicle needs! Highly recommend!

I was very impressed with the ease of their services. They were thorough in not only finding the issue but pointed out other things other issues. I already knew about all of the other issues so that made me feel better about their honesty. They were able to send their quote through text and I was able to approve or deny while still at work. I expected a week for completion but it only took a day! Upon pickup I was met at my car with keys and the receipt, which caught me off guard with their hospitality. I definitely will be using their services again!
